Let’s Talk Washing!
Ok Mums, let’s talk washing!
Oh, and Dad’s of course (except for my washing shy husband!)
Any mum knows (and especially mums of boys!) that when you sign up to being a mum, you are also signing up to a lifetime of ‘wash, spin, dry’ as well. Not to mention the fold and put away! I must do about twenty loads of washing a week, if not more!
The boys cannot wear the same pair of school trousers two days in a row thanks to the grass stains they get playing football at lunch time. I am able to tell what my four year old had for lunch just by looking at the front of his jumper! And not too long ago my washing machine was spinning round the clock cleaning clothes that fell victim to my sons potty training efforts!
Those of you who read my ’10 Mischievous things my toddler has done’ post will know that he wrecked my washing machine by turning the dial mid cycle for the umptienth time! I was more stressed by the thought of having to cope for a day without a washing machine than I was by paying out for a new one. I even ended up round a friends house doing an essential load so that the boys had some clean pants and socks!
If you click here, you will see a range of Panasonic washing machines that are perfect for helping us along with one of our most hated jobs. I am obviously working in conjunction with them to write this but, based on how good my Panasonic television is (yes my husband did go for maximum screen size!) , I have no doubt that their washing machines are pretty top notch too!
As I write this I can hear my washing machine clinking away in the kitchen where one of my boys has undoubtedly left some stones in his trouser pockets. Those of you who read my 18 Signs You Are A Mum Of Boys post will know exactly where I am coming from with this one! I feel comforted though knowing that many of you are probably listening to that exact same noise as you read this!
